Yes, the game is free. The AI chat has a free plan with a usage limit, and paid plans if you want to practice more.
Do I need an account?
No. Your game is saved in this browser and will be there when you come back. If you sign in with Google, it's saved to your account so you can continue on any device.
Which languages can I learn?
In the game: English, Spanish, Japanese, and French, each with its own house and progress. In the AI chat you can also practice German, Korean, Italian, Chinese, Portuguese, and Hindi. The instructions can be in your language.
Can I start from zero?
Yes. If you tell the game you're starting from zero, each new word first appears with the answer in view, and you can ask for help whenever you need it.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. It works in the browser on your phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to install.
